Gregory Mikulka is a leading innovator in mission-driven financial advisory services, known for his deep technical expertise in guarantee facilities, fund management, portfolio analytics, and financial modeling. With a passion for driving impact through innovation, Gregory founded Uplift Capital Solutions to accelerate breakthroughs in the impact investing space, bringing fresh solutions to today’s most pressing challenges.
With more than a decade of experience, Gregory has built a reputation as a trusted advisor to emerging funds, community lenders, and impact investors. He has provided strategic leadership across a wide array of projects, from launching structured funds to advising on risk analytics and fund capitalization strategies. As a recognized authority on CDFI portfolio risk, he played a pivotal role in guiding the industry through its transition to CECL accounting standards.
Before founding Uplift Capital Solutions, Gregory served as Executive Director of Impact Investment Services at Locus, where he expanded off-balance sheet programs like private debt and guarantee funds. His previous leadership roles at High Impact Financial Analysis and experience in event-driven financial services with Houlihan Lokey and FTI Consulting further solidified his expertise in structured solutions and operating in complex financial environments.

Gregory believes in opportunity without borders and supports various refugee resettlement organizations, including serving on the Board of Directors at the HIAS Economic Advance Fund. When he's not in Excel, you can find him in the mountains around Bozeman, MT, where he resides full-time.
